YOGA POSE OF THE MONTH

The Mydols' lead singer April Boyle shows you the CAT POSE.


Begin on all fours with hands under shoulders and knees under hips.


Lengthen your spine. Pull your belly in and up.


Breathe deeply through the nose.


Inhale and begin to arch your back reaching the tailbone and crown of the head toward the sky.


As you exhale begin to round your back as you tuck your tailbone under and bring your chin toward your chest.


Move through cat pose as you breath in and out slowly and smoothly. Inhale arch, exhale round. repeat 5-10 times.

This pose brings awareness and flexability to the entire length of the spine.
